A Little Bit About Me

My name's Carol.  Thanks for taking time to visit my page.  I'm absolutely a computer junkie/techie.  Techie by day and junkie by night. 

At night and in the evenings, you'll most likely find me at either Playsite or the MSN Gaming Zone or, of course, on ICQ.  My most favorite thing to do on the net is play games ..... specifically backgammon.  Occasionally you may catch me playing Cribbage, Spades or Tangleword, too.

During the day, what some people call work, I do technical support.  It's all fun and games to me, though.  I do mostly contract work and have worked for Microsoft, Lockheed Martin and Motorola.  I love doing contract work because there's always a variety of jobs to be done and always a different place.  However, I am currently unemployed so if anyone out there knows of a technical support position in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, please let me know !!

I do have a few other interests, if and when I ,manage to rip my body away from the keyboard.  I live in Texas, so I love to go country dancing or "boot-scooting", as I call it.  I also like to spend time with my 8 year old son, Nicholas.  Oh, and I must mention my favorite person in the whole wide world, my best friend PaTrishaaa.  She has been my best friend for the past 30 years.

Now if my web site is totally boring you to tears, well I'm sorry.  It's purpose when I started it was just to provide me with my most common links, accessible from anywhere.  That's also the reason that I put my MCSE notes here.  That way, whether I'm at work, home, or a friends house (hi Todd ;-)), I could get to my study notes.  It may turn into something more than that eventually, as I keep playing with it, but for right now, that's about all it is.
